All Stars Sprints Poised For
Another Williams Grove Run Friday
PASS 305 sprints join All
Stars for Williams Grove battle with Posse!
6/7/15
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mechanicsburg
– Williams Grove Speedway
will host the All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars this Friday night,
June 12 at 7:30 pm.
The PASS 305 sprints are also on the racing program.
The match up between the All Stars and the Pennsylvania
Posse will be the second and final appearance of the season by the circuit
at the track and the show is highly anticipated after a rather successful
April stint in the area by the travelers.
One of the All Stars
invaders, Pittsburgh’s Danny Holtgraver led the first half of the Williams
Grove main event back in April before packing a wheel and falling off the
pace.
Greg Hodnett went on to
claim the victory.
Holtgraver will be just one of a batch of top-notch All
Stars to return to the Williams Grove wars next Friday, gunning for the
$5,000 top prize in the 30-lap feature event.
Also pitside will be
perennial All Stars champion Dale Blaney, who finished third at the track in
April.
Also expected to reappear
for the June show are past champions Chad Kemenah, Tim Shaffer and Greg
Wilson along with the likes of up and comers Parker Price-Miller and Sheldon
Haudenschild, Ryan Smith, Cody Darrah and more.
Adult general admission for the show is $18 with youth
ages 13 – 20 admitted for $10.
Kids ages 12 and under
are always admitted free at Williams Grove Speedway!
The Williams Grove
portion of the 50/50 on the night will be donated to The American Red Cross
as they will be conducting a blood drive at the track during the night.
The June 12 All Stars
show will be another in the 2015 Hoosier Diamond Series at the track.
And given the type of
contingent traveling with the All Stars in 2015, the potential for a
first-ever win at Williams Grove by a bona-fide All Star in an All Star
event seems quite viable.
To date, no such event
has occurred, with the score currently sitting at 29-0 for the PA Posse
since All Stars competition began at the oval in 1970.
The Williams Grove
Saturday Series featuring the super sportsman continues on Saturdays during
the summer months with race time at 7 pm each week.
