Williams Grove Hosts 410
And 358 Sprints Friday, 358s Compete In Summer Series Event

Williams Grove Speedway will offer a full racing
program of Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints and H J Towing & Recovery 358
sprints this Friday, July 10 at 7:30 pm.
The 358 sprints will be competing in the first of two
Williams Grove Summer Series Challenge events, run in conjunction with two
races at Lincoln Speedway.
The four special
races carry a cumulative total point fund worth $3,000 to the drivers who
place in the top 10 in the point standings at the end of the fourth race,
which takes place at Williams Grove on September 6.
The point fund is posted by Nouse Signs &
Graphics of Carlisle.
Each race also carries several posted contingency cash
prizes including a $100 Hard Charger courtesy of Consumers Insurance, a
bonus of $100 for winning a heat and feature in the same event courtesy of
Highlands Powersports, $100 for the “Tuff Luck” driver as posted by Kevin
Quirk Racewear and $25 to win each heat as offered by Esh Racing Products.
In addition, the 11th finisher in
each race receives free torsion bar services courtesy of Newlin Bar Service.
The 410 sprints will race in a regular event that
offers lap money and bonus money for the feature event on top of the posted
winner’s share of $3,600.
Adult general admission for the show is $14 with youth
ages 13 – 20 admitted for $10.
Kids ages 12 and
under are always admitted FREE at Williams Grove Speedway!
The track portion
of the 50/50 on July 10 will go to Bethesda Mission of Harrisburg, an
organization that helps those in need via outreach through local churches.
The second
appearance of the season by the World of Outlaws sprint stars and cars is in
the offing at Williams Grove.
The World of
Outlaws Summer Nationals are set to spin off on July 24 and 25.
The Williams Grove
Saturday Series featuring the super sportsman continues on Saturdays during
the summer months with race time at 7 pm each week.
