Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series Donates Money To Campbell Family

This Saturday Williams Grove Speedway’s Saturday Night
Series will donate their half of the 50/50 money to the family of James Campbell
Jr. Last week Campbell lost his
life in a Sprint Car crash during a Friday evening practice session.
Campbell’s No. 31 was well known throughout the racing region
On August 22, Williams Grove Speedway will present their
final 2015 Saturday Night Series Saturday event featuring the Blazer’s Body Shop
Super Sportsman, Credit Connection Auto Sales 358 Late Models and Aquafun Pools
Street Stocks.
Following the event the top drivers will receive their
awards. Along with trophies and
prize money, speedway management will distribute special awards for Rookie of
the Year, Sportsmanship and Most Improved.
Williams Grove Speedway’s Saturday Night Series will
complete the year with a Friday night race on September 11.
The show’s highlight will be the Topless 30 for the 358 Late Models.
The stock cars will race under the stars with each team removing the roof
off their 358 Late Models. Joining the 358 Late Models will be the Super
Sportsman and Street Stocks.
The Aquafun Pools Street Stocks will compete at Williams
Grove Speedway this Friday, August 21.
They will join the 410 Sprint Cars.
Saturday’s racing action begins at 7 PM.
Adult admission is $6 with children 12 and under free.
