Starting money bumped up to $300 for the September 11th, $2,000 to win Williams Grove Speedway "Topless 30" for 358 Late Models. General Admission only $6 for 3 full divisions.

We are just a little over a week away, and event organizer Kenny Riland has upped the ante for his $2,000 to win topless 358 Late Model event scheduled to take place on Friday Night, September 11th. The 5th annual "Topless 30" will take place at the historic Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania and will now pay a minimum of $300 to start the 30 lap feature, thanks largely in part to MWG Transport, Inc. of Lebanon, Pennsylvania & Harbaugh Amusement Machine of Martinsburg, West Virginia. Williams Grove Speedway will pay their standard purse with the extra money and incentives provided by Ken Riland and his great sponsors.

The Topless 30 once again will be overseen by the Appalachian Mtn. Speedweek staff and will use the Loco-Motives Appalachian Mtn. Speedweek format which will see group time trials set the stage for the competitive heat races. Miller Racing Parts of Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania will present the overall fast qualifier with $200 in cash for the quickest lap around the historic half mile. The 30 lap feature will start off with a 4 abreast salute to the fans, before the drivers get to business and battle for the $2,000 top prize.

The Loco-Motives Appalachian Mtn. Speedweek will present the Hard Charger with a $200 cash award with a slight twist. The winner of the award will receive $100 in cash with the remaining $100 being donated to the Susan G Komen for the Cure Foundation in the hard chargers name, in memory of Linda Bigler (Ken & Beth Riland’s Daughter) who passed away from cancer a few years back.

In an added incentive, speedway supporter Jeff Jacobs has come on board to provide the 4th place finisher in the "Topless 30" with a custom diecast model of the car that carried them to the fine finish. Jeff produces one of a kind, highly detailed productions. His attention to detail is second to none. Whether it is a Sprint Car, Sportsman, Street Stock, Modified or Late Model, Jeff will produce something you’ll want to display always.

Williams Grove Speedway will keep the Saturday night general admission of just $6 for this Friday night triple header as the Sportsman and Street Stocks join the topless 358 Late Models for an action packed night of racing. As always, kids twelve and under are free at "The Grove".

Williams Grove Speedway and Susquehanna Speedway Park motor rules apply for this event. Event promoter Kenny Riland has stated that all teams will need to pull a valve cover during pre-race inspection to allow his Ken Riland Promotions Tech Crew access to the heads casting numbers. For any questions call Ken Riland at (717)576-1018.
