Mechanicsburg –
The Mahoney’s Plumbing and Heating Summer Series for HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint cars will make a stop at Williams Grove Speedway along with the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints, coming up this Friday, June 22 at 8 pm.

The Mahoney’s Plumbing and Heating Summer Series visits several area speedways during the season and will return to Williams Grove Speedway again on September 14.

Adult general admission for this week's show is $15 with youth ages 13 – 20 admitted for $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.

The June 22 program precedes the opening of PA Sprint Speedweek at the track, coming up on Friday, June 29.

The 358 sprint cars will again share the headlines with the 410 sprints for the speedweek opener, sponsored by Sprintcarunlimited.com.

And then the biggest show of the annual speedweek series, the $10,000 to win Mitch Smith Memorial will take center stage at Williams Grove on Friday, July 6.

Lucas Wolfe has overtaken Greg Hodnett for the season point lead at Williams Grove although he currently holds a scant 45-point margin.

Wolfe took the season opener at Williams Grove back in March and will be a threat to garner the 2018 PA Speedweek series title while trying to record the 2018 Williams Grove track crown as well.

With two consecutive weeks of 358 sprint racing coming up at the track, Kevin Nouse is locked in a tight battle with Jeff Halligan to claim the season crown.

Just 25 points separate the pair with Nouse leading over Halligan.
