Mechanicsburg – The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars will have Friday night off this week at Williams Grove Speedway but will return on September 12.

This week, September 5, the Tool Shed of America 358 sprints will share the track with topless competition for the Saturday Series 358 late models.

The topless limited lates will use time trials to set their starting grids.

The September 5 card gets underway at 7:30 pm.

Adult general admission for the show is just $14 with youth ages 13 – 20 admitted for just $8.

This week’s program also begins Senior Citizen admission pricing with fans born in 1957 or earlier admitted for just $8 through the end of the season, with the exception of the October National Open.

And please remember, kids ages 12 and under are always admitted free at Williams Grove Speedway!

The Williams Grove 358 sprints have contested eight events so far this season with current point leader Kevin Nouse atop the win list counting four to his credit.

Other winners so far this season have been Adrian Shaffer, who owns a pair, plus one-time winners Brock Zearfoss and Doug Hammaker.

Aaron Ott owns a win in combined 360/358 sprint action as well.

The 410 sprints will again take center stage at Williams Grove Speedway on September 12 along with the Tool Shed of America 358 sprint cars.

An identical show is slated for September 19 before a National Open tune up takes place along with the 358 sprints on September 26.

The final show of September on the 26th will also decide the 2014 Diamond Series championship for the 410 sprints.

The month of September is all in preparation for the the biggest sprint car show on the East Coast, the World of Outlaws Williams Grove Speedway National Open, coming up on Friday and Saturday, October 3 and 4.

The World of Outlaws sprint car sanctioned event will pay $50,000 to the winner of the Saturday night 40-lap National Open finale.
