September To Remember On Tap At Williams Grove Speedway

Month filled with big races for 410 sprints, No racing September 6

Mechanicsburg – It will be a September to remember at Williams Grove Speedway as the month will be full of nothing but big sprint car shows in preparation for the 57th annual Champion Racing Oil National Open on October 4 and 5.

There will be no racing at the track on September 6 before the big Friday shows begin, slated for September 13, 20 and 27.

The September 13 event will be the Dirt Classic Qualifier paying $5,000 to win for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars.

The winner of the race will be a guaranteed starter for the Dirt Classic at Lincoln Speedway on September 21.

The PASS IMCA 305 sprints are also on the September 13 racing program.

September 20 will find the track hosting the All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprints make-up Tommy Hinnershitz Classic, presented by Eleven Oaks Farms.

Paying $6,000 to win, the 30-lap Tommy Classic was rained out in April.

The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints are also slated for September 20 including a make-up main held over from August 2.

And then September 27 will find the track prepping for the following week’s Champion Racing Oil National Open by spinning off the National Open Tune Up, paying $8,000 to win a 30-lap feature.

The program will also be the final Hoosier Diamond Series event of the season and will crown the series champion.

The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints will also be on the card and likewise will crown the 2019 division champion.

All three September racing programs will begin at 7:30 pm.

The 57th annual Champion Racing Oil National Open, sanctioned by the World of Outlaws NOS Engery Drink Sprint Cars Series, will close the season at the track on October 4 and 5.

Saturday’s 40-lap Champion Racing Oil National Open will pay $65,000 to the winner and will serve to crown the 2019 Williams Grove Speedway 410 sprint track champion.
