Randy Wolfe Tribute Race Is July 15

Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will host another exciting pair of events for both the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and the USAC East Coast 360 sprints coming up this Friday, July 8 at 7:30 pm.

Fresh off of a pair of Pennsylvania Speedweek programs in the last two weeks claimed by Anthony Macri and Brent Marks, the 410 sprints will compete in a regular program, lining up the 25-lap main heads-up from their heat finishes.

In two appearances at the track so far this season by the USAC East sprinters, wins have gone to Briggs Danner and Alex Bright.

The USAC East drivers will compete in a 20-lap main.

Adult general admission is set at $20 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for just $10 while kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.

Williams Grove Speedway will host the make-up Randy Wolfe Tribute Night coming up on July 15.

A display of Wolfe photos and memorabilia will also be set up adjacent to the infield stage.

Lucas Wolfe will have his No. 5W sprint car on display as well.

As the owners of Wolfe’s final ride in the late 1990s, the Allebach No. 75, Jim and Laura Allebach will be paying $75 to win heat races on the night along with the consolation race and the feature event.

Courtesy of Orange Crate Brewing Company, the fifth place finisher in the main event will earn a $555 bonus.
