“Bowhunters Brawl

Just eight races remain on 2023 schedule

Mechanicsburg –Presented by Bowhunters Superstore of Wellsville, another racing program of Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and HJ Towing and Recovery 358 sprints is on tap this Friday night, August 4 at Williams Grove Speedway.

“The Bowhunters Brawl” at Williams Grove this week will feature the 410 sprints in a $5,500 to win main event while the 358 sprints compete in another MacMor Construction Summer Series race.

Each feature event will be 25 laps in distance.

Action gets underway at 7:30 pm.

Bowhunters Superstore will be hosting the “Bowhunters Bash" at their 1045 Zeigler Road address in Wellsville on August 11 and 12, featuring an open house and a huge sales event of archery and other sporting goods.

“The Bowhunters Brawl" at Williams Grove this week will showcase a static display in the infield featuring the Bowhunters Superstore 4x4 tuff truck along with store merchandise and information on the August 11 and 12 Bash sales event.

Sprint car driver Kyle Moody of Bowhunters Superstore will be signing autographs from 5:45 until 6:15 pm.

The August 4 race ushers in the final two months of 2023 sprint car competition at Williams Grove Speedway with Freddie Rahmer holding the lead in the 410 sprint point standings while Derek Locke leads the 358 sprint standings.

Just eight 410 sprint races remain on the 2023 schedule at Williams Grove.

Summer Series sponsor MacMor Construction is a land development company now in its 10th year of operation.

Adult general admission for August 4 is $20 with students ages 13-20 admitted for $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always free at Williams Grove Speedway.
